The following defects may be encountered during the injection molding process:
1. The injection molding process is incomplete, because the mold cavity is not filled with plastic or the injection molding process is poor in some details.
2. Possible causes of problems: (1). Insufficient injection speed. (2). Lack of plastic material (3). No screw packing material is left at the end of the screw process. (4) Change of running time. (5) The temperature of the injection cylinder is too low. (6) Insufficient injection pressure. (7). The nozzle is sealed. (8). The heater outside the nozzle or cylinder cannot be operated. (9). The injection time is too short. (10). Plastic attached to the hopper throat wall. (11) The capacity of the injection molding machine is too small (that is, the injection weight or plasticizing talent). (12). Die temperature is too low. (13). No anti-rust oil for cleaning molds. (14). The stop ring is damaged, and the molten material has signs of backflow.
3. Management skills: (1). Increase injection speed. (2). Check the amount of plastic in the hopper. (3). Check whether the injection course is correctly set, and change it if necessary. (4). Check whether the check valve is worn or cracked. (5) To check whether the operation is consolidated. (6). Increase the melt temperature. (7) Increase back pressure. (8). Increase injection speed. (9). Check the nozzle hole for foreign bodies or unplasticized plastics. (10). Check all the outer layers of the heater and use an ammeter to test whether the energy output is correct. (11). Increase the screw forward time. (12). Increase the cooling amount in the throat area of the hopper, or lower the temperature in the rear area of the injection cylinder. (13). Use a larger injection molding machine. (14) Properly increase mold temperature. (15). Liquidate the anti-rust agent in the clean mold. (16). Search or replace the stop ring.
Size difference of injection parts: 1. Characteristics of defect of injection parts: The change of component size during injection molding exceeds the production talent of mold, injection molding machine and plastic combination. 2. Possible causes of problems: (1) Uneven plastic in the input cylinder. (2) The temperature or turbulence of the injection cylinder is too limited. (3) The capacity of the injection molding machine is too small. (4) The injection pressure is not consolidated. (5). Screw reset is not consolidated. (6) Changes in operation time and inconsistent solution viscosity. (7) The injection speed (flow control) is not consolidated. (8). Types of plastics that are not suitable for molds are applied. (9). Consider the influence of mold temperature, injection pressure, speed, time and pressure retention on the product.
